This small (in size and content) book was delivered well ahead of time so I read it from cover to cover in anticipation of our vacation. The information gave an overall idea of the Great Smokies (Park) and surrounding area. After arriving we found we wanted/needed to know more which we found in other books, etc. It covers just about every aspect of a vacation - food, lodging, festivals, sports and activities, and more. No photos. Well worth the low price. I'm glad I bought it.
