I received your book today and sat down and read the complete book. I will have to go back to review different sections. It is a wonderful book, I have IPF am on oxygen and have passed the five years they gave me. I highly recommend your book to either someone with IPfFor PF or a caregiver to a person with IPF or PF. It has all the information they might need in regards to professional care, self-care and caregiving. I want to thank you for writing a book about IPF and PF that will be a great benefit to those who have this condition. My wife who is my caregiver is reading the book now and I am sure she will also agree it is a valuable asset for her in regards to caregiving. May God bless.you.
I don’t have Pulmonary Fibrosis but my best friend does. :( I’ve never walked alongside someone with a terminal illness so that is why I bought her book: to learn how to be a good friend and understand more about PF without having to ask a lot of difficult questions. Kim’s book is an honest account of PF and every chapter is full of information and helpful tips, but Kim’s book is an amazing comfort as well. Kim provides encouragement and counseling insights that are invaluable as well as many resources, and especially helpful was her phrase, “Kind words to say to yourself.†I’m so grateful to Kim for writing this book because I know it will help so many people, those with PF and those of us who dearly love a PF patient.
If you have IPF, or are a loved one of a IPF person, you need to read this book. Kim is very knowledgeable about the disease, and the emotions we go through dealing with it. She gives us very good advice on coping with this illness. A must read.
It's not been long since I received this book but I'm looking forward to reading it. I've recently been diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis and I've heard this is a good book to help me along this new chapter in my life.

When reading this book, I felt like I was talking to a really good friend who understood everything that I was going through. I was recently diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis. I have researched copious books and the internet for information concerning this disease. This book is so well written, I just couldn't put it down. Not only are all the facts and emotions of having this disease addressed, but a wealth of resources are included in this book. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has Pulmonary Fibrosis or is a caregiver to a loved one with Pulmonary Fibrosis.
This is an excellent book for a patient, caregiver, family member, or friend of a patient. Pulmonary fibrosis is a horrible horrible disease but Kim’s book is just what is needed in the PF community to help make sense of this journey. My husband has lived with IPF since his diagnosis in 2007, but it’s just the last couple years that he has started going downhill. I wish I’d had this book earlier but I’m thankful to have it now. Thank you Kim for writing the book...it’s going to help so many people.

Kim speaks about being compassionate with yourself, i’ve gained a new insight into why I speak harshly to myself and I’ve learned not to be upset by those things that I don’t have any control of and acknowledge that it’s new territory for me and things have changed and will continue. Thank you Kim for such an insightful book!
