I just received the 3rd edition, and while there are some nice updates and price corrections, there are also a number of important entries missing. I looked for Introducing Johnny Griffin on Blue Note, 1st pressing, Lexington Avenue: missing. Coltrane's Giant Steps on Atlantic, black label mono original: missing. Ken McIntyre, Looking Ahead with Eric Dolphy, New Jazz purple label: missing. These were the first three records I looked up! How about Tina Brooks True Blue, mono original on Blue Note? That one seems to be missing as well. There are also many entries with not enough information to ascertain an original copy. For example, Coltrane on Prestige 7105: there is no distinction between 50th St and Bergenfield addresses. They're not both worth $1200! It's good to have another reference, but the older editions, especially those by Neal Umphred are still the go-to publications.

Finally updated in 2016.Would like much more info. regarding various artists collections.
Good general guide to Jazz Records. Prices are way off of actual prices realized on auction sites but as a overall guide to what is common and what is hard to find, it does a good job. Wish there was a guide like it for Classical Records.
It seems to have fewer albums represented than volumes 1 & 2. That issue surprised me. It helps complete my record price guide collection.
